Position Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for various tasks related to polishing, grinding, sawing, mechanical assembly, and driving to pick up parts for our manufacturing facility. Your expertise and precision will contribute to the production of high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform polishing, grinding, sawing, and mechanical assembly tasks according to established specifications and guidelines.
- Operate and maintain a variety of machinery, equipment, and tools required for polishing, grinding, sawing, and mechanical assembly.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and machinery, following safety protocols and guidelines.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making necessary adjustments or repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets and meet deadlines.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, including work orders, quality control reports, and equipment maintenance records.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to maintain consistent quality standards.
- Drive company vehicles to pick up parts and materials from suppliers as required.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while driving and performing tasks.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement to optimize production output.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
- Proficiency in using a variety of hand tools and power tools.
- Familiarity with operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to work on different shifts, if required.
