Position Description
We are seeking an experienced Electromechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and testing electromechanical devices and systems, ensuring that they meet quality and performance standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have a strong work ethic, and possess a deep understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. The Electromechanical Assembler will work closely with engineers and other production staff to build products according to design specifications and industry standards.
Position Objectives
- Assemble and test electromechanical devices and systems, including wiring, soldering, and crimping electrical components, installing and mounting mechanical components, and performing functional testing.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications to ensure compliance with design requirements.
- Troubleshoot and debug electromechanical assemblies as necessary.
- Perform quality control checks on assembled products to ensure that they meet customer specifications and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of assembly and testing activities, including test results, issues encountered, and solutions implemented.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to improve assembly processes and product quality.
- Collaborate with engineers and other production staff to resolve assembly-related issues and provide feedback on product design and manufacturability.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in electromechanical assembly is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electromechanical assembly, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with electrical testing equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new assembly techniques and technologies.
