Position Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Design Engineer to join our team of machine builders. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing machines that meet our clients’ specifications and industry standards. You will collaborate with our team of engineers, project managers, and technicians to ensure that each project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop machines from concept to final product, ensuring they meet client specifications and industry standards
- Develop and maintain detailed design documentation, including schematics, drawings, bills of materials, and specifications.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify design challenges and recommend improvements to existing products or processes.
- Ensure that all designs comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Participate in prototype testing and validation, and make design modifications as necessary.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our products and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in machine design, preferably in the manufacturing or automation industry.
- Strong knowledge of SolidWorks software.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, including machining, welding, and assembly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
