Long thought to be cost-prohibitive, a new cooperative arrangement between FEMC and Yaskawa, a recognized leader in industrial servo controls, has lowered the cost of servo controls so as to make them a practical alternative to other types of electric motors. With speeds to 300 containers-per-minute, the FEMC Servo-Driven Standalone Universal Screw Denester is designed to roll up to any existing line and fully integrate in 10 minutes or less. FEMC Universal Screw Denesters are adjustable, without tools in less than 5 minutes, for any container that possesses uniform stacking features. The FEMC Servo Driven Standalone Universal Screw Denester utilizes virtually any input device to signal the start of the denesting cycle. This signal may be provided by a limit switch, photo eye or PLC for cycle-on-demand control or via an encoder for electronic lineshaft coupling. The FEMC Servo-Driven Standalone Universal Screw Denester is hand adjustable for line heights from 30 inches (762 mm) to 60 inches (1524 mm) and can be built to run on voltages from 110V to 480V.
