This show we decided to have some fun with a few new approaches that were intended to drive traffic to the booth. One of these approaches was to "publish" a daily newsletter filled with trivia, quizzes and unusual facts. A new newsletter was available each day and each contained a word puzzle that encouraged the reader to return to the FEMC booth with the correct answer to receive a prize.
For those who actually took and read the newsletter, the response was good. Everyone who gave us feedback was generally positive, but we would have liked more convention-goers to have found and read them. Next show (Las Vegas) I think we'll take a more proactive role in distributing them... at least the first day's.
